How I built €1.3 million with a small audience

Cindy wearing a patterned dress holds a card in their hands. Overlaid text reads: “How I Built Almost €1.3 Million With a Small Audience (Without Performing for Visibility).” The image has warm tones and a professional, personal-brand aesthetic.

If there is one piece of business advice I stopped believing years ago, it's this: "You just need more visibility."

Post more. Sell harder. Go viral. Be everywhere. Be consistent and show up every day. Become impossible to ignore.

As if success is simply a numbers game.

I understand why so many women believe it. I believed parts of it too and when I’m insecure, I can still spiral a moment on some of these. We live in an online world where follower counts are treated like proof of success and where algorithms seem to decide who deserves to be seen.

But my business has taught me something completely different: I show up in alignment with my Soul and the Universe makes up for the rest. That might sound cheezy, but I decided to believe this from day one. I was a single mom at the time and I didn’t have the time, nor the energy to show up for my business like that. I still remember the evening when I had that magical moment with the Universe.

I never discovered some secret growth hack or mastered every algorithm. I became deeply committed to creating work that people couldn't stop talking about and made sure that I showed up as the vessel for the Universe.

I never wanted strangers

I wanted my women. Soulmate, match made in heaven connections. Women who felt something. Women who read a post and immediately sent it to a friend. Women who finished a session and couldn't stop thinking about it. Women who experienced such profound shifts that they naturally wanted other women to experience the same.

That has always been my strategy. Not manipulation, urgency or performing. I am depth and I want depth in my business.

I refuse to perform for visibility

There's a difference between taking action and performing. I work. I create posts, blogs and newsletters. I launch. I write and I sell.

But I refuse to become someone else just so an algorithm approves of me. Because every time you build an audience by pretending to be someone you're not, you're creating a business you'll eventually have to perform inside.

And that’s f* exhausting.

People don't buy because you convinced them

They buy because they trust you and trust isn't built by saying the right thing. You build trust with your energy and by embodying what you teach. At least as an intuitive, magnetic woman.

Your audience can feel the difference between someone trying to get clients and someone simply standing inside their work. The first creates pressure and the second creates safety.

Your work should be able to speak for you

One of the greatest compliments I've ever received isn't about my content. It's when women tell me:

"I’m gonna refer my friend, client or business bestie to you."

Or when stores reach out asking if they can sell my oracle decks. Or when women I've never met already trust me because someone they love felt so seen by me and my work.

That isn't luck or something I journaled about in the morning. This is what happens when your work becomes stronger than your marketing.

Visibility was never the goal

Depth is. When you’re not into small talk in normal life, then your depth is what actually creates referrals.

Depth creates returning clients. Depth creates communities. Depth creates a business that doesn't constantly depend on finding new people.

The internet tells you to constantly chase more eyes on your content, but I would rather become unforgettable to the right ones.

Build something women want to talk about

Whenever someone asks me how to grow their business, my first question is never:

"How often did you post this month?

I want to know if your business lights you up. If your work is created by devotion or with hustle energy. And: "Would someone naturally tell their best friend about what you created?"

Because if the answer is no, more visibility will never solve your problem. It will simply expose more people to something that isn't remarkable enough yet. Instead of asking how to become more visible, ask yourself:

How can I create something that women can't stop talking about?

That question has built my business far more than any content strategy ever has.

I'm not against marketing, consistency or showing up. But I believe the strongest, intuitive businesses are built when your visibility follows your integrity. And not the other way around.

When your work carries its own frequency and your clients become your biggest advocates. When your audience doesn't just consume your content, but feels changed by it.

That's the kind of business I've been building from the beginning. Not one that depends on performing for attention.

And I wouldn't trade that for millions of followers. Not for a second.
